THE SUCCESS IDENTITY
Optimize their social media , content creation & grow the subscriber count.
Karmen was seeking to get a content strategy created for A.S.S as well as a strategy on how to grow their account and get more subscribers to engage with the brand.

PULLING THE STRINGS
My role was to create the social media content, edit videos and work to ensure the social accounts were well maintained and managed. Driving traffic was also a major aspect of the project, as event were constantly being hosted. I also took on the role of establishing a strategy for growing the accounts.

THE TIMELINE
The steps taken towards making the project a success were as follows (timeline below)
Onboarding
Karmen and I set up a call to formalize ourselves with each other as well as with the scope of the project.
Project kicks off
With everything smoothened out, and the necessary details exchanged, work commenced. I crafted a strategy for A.S.S with the details on how they could improve and get closer to their goals.
The implementation phase
I started working on the first phase of the project, which was optimizing the account, carrying out the hashtag research and studying the audience as well as their pain points.
Phase 2
We moved into the second phase of the project and got started with the content creation and distribution. This included a variety of content from carousels, images, videos, stories, polls among others.
An active audience
With the strategy now falling into place, we started to see results with our followers engaging with out content and seeking us out as an authority in the industry.

Challenges

Some of the major challenges faced in the project were a lack of consistent branding across the channel. There was also a backlog of videos neither optimized nor properly licensed copyright wise. Youth Co:Lab being a non profit, there was need to pivot our strategy in several cases to cater for that aspect.

THE WIN
Working together with Youth Co:lab, we efficiently leveraged effective YouTube marketing strategies to impact the channel and hit the key performance indicators. Some examples of the results we were able to achieve were;
